I love February. I think I say that every year. Maybe it's because February is such a neat word (Feb, R U A RY? -- how I learned to spell it and still sound it out) or that it's a short month, or that my parents', Adam's, his dad's and my birthdays are all this month, or because it includes Valentine's. Short and sweet month.
Madeline received her first of many flowers from her favorite valentine, Daddy. He brought her a dozen pink roses. What a sweet daddy she has.
We celebrated the day after with our traditional steak and lobster dinner. I can't remember the last time that we went out to dinner on Valentine's. I'd much rather spend it at home with all my loves.
