Mom and I took the kids to Zilker Park the other day so Luke could ride the Zilker Zephyr and play on the playground. He loved the train, of course. I didn't get any pictures of us on it because I was too busy feeding Madeline. I'm that woman. I didn't even have a hooter hider! Good thing we were in the caboose, so hopefully no one saw me. But, I did get pictures of him going down, down, down the slide:

4 Months!
She's just a little lovebug. Watching Luke and her together -- oh, it makes me happy. I can definitely say that these are the happiest days for me. So much in my life to be thankful for, so I'll count my blessings and enjoy them.
Today, we had her doctor's appointment, and we learned a few things:
1. She hates vaccines.
2. She weighs 14 pounds and is in the 75th percentile for weight and height. Big girl!3. She hates vaccines.
4. The doctor is concerned she might have hip dysplasia. When he examined her hips, he thought he felt/heard them pop, so we're going back for an ultrasound. Hopefully, it's nothing. But, this is the same doctor who diagnosed Luke, so I'm definitely going to listen to him.
5. She hates vaccines.
6. She's right on track and meeting all of her milestones. She's already rolled over (Luke didn't roll over until he was 5 months old) and she grabs for toys and has good neck strength (the doctor even commented on it).
So, gone are the days of leaving her on her changing pad while I run to the closet for something. No more putting her on the ottoman for just a minute while I grab a pacifier. She must be strapped in, strapped on or put on the floor to roll around.
Looks sweet, doesn't it? Shortly after this "hug," he squeezed her a little too hard and left her toppled over.

Oh, Mr. Sandman ... Bring Me a Dream
Nighttime at the Scott house is a pretty drawn-out process. Dinner, bath, books, bedtime ... it takes a while. And one of the two littles is usually melting down at some point. However, this weekend, both of them fought the Sandman at naptime. Luke absolutely did not want to take one. And, when he finally did fall asleep, he was determined to nap standing up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI2QMKlSlKU
Madeline's a cuddly chubby. She needs a lovey or two to get some shut eye.
