Luke and I have been butting heads lately. And, he's been literally bumping them with just about everyone. Head butting is his new thing, especially to Madeline. In the same minute that he gives her one of his trucks, he also gives her a little head butt. This. Is. Not. OK. I've done time outs so many times in the last couple of weeks that I've lost count. Is he getting jealous? Is this his way of dealing with emotions? Is this a 2-year-old thing? Not sure. The time outs only work occasionally, and they're sometimes coupled with a little spank. He has to know that he cannot do that to people, especially his baby sister.
And, that's not all he's doing. Just yesterday he took a big sip of milk and walked right over to Madeline in her swing and spit it on her. Back to timeout we go. Sigh. I swear he's a sweet kid ...

hang in there! I have so been there and dont worry Alex still has his shocking moments! I was just emailing with Mickey about similar stuff and I think it is so normal for the age and the jealousy thing. boys are crazy. I wish I could give you some great solution but I cant. just keep on keeping on and I guess try to give him as much love and attention as possible. :) and really praise the good behavior when you catch it. that is one I really have to work on too!
