Lisa got a bunch of great stuff -- she's going to be the best mom! It's cool to see my friends in this stage of their life. We've experienced college together, then getting our careers started, then meeting our significant others, then getting married, now having babies! What a ride!
This trip was the longest road trip Luke's had so far, and boy did he make it memorable. About half-way there, Mandy took over driving and I sat in the backseat. I was mid-song "Itsy Bitsy Spider" when I smelled it. A smell that's always recognizable. Poo. Don't know what happened exactly, but it was everywhere. Down his legs, all over the carseat, he'd even gotten it on his feet and on the backseat. Mandy pulled over and, coincidentally, the gas station had a water hose faucet. So, we stripped him down and hosed him off. It was a crash course for Mandy -- she's due in August. He must've wanted to make sure she really got some practice -- he did the exact same thing on the way back. What a mess. I was down to one toy that didn't have poop on it and stuffed in a plastic bag by the time we got home.
