We started our birthing classes at the hospital and have one more week to go. They really do teach you to breathe "hee hee hoo, hee hee hoo" and "go to your happy place", which was difficult for me to find with 14 strangers around. Some things we need to keep in mind:
- 5-1-1: call the doctor when the contractions are 5 minutes apart, 1 minute long, for 1 hour.
- Don't forget the parking pass!
- Adam's hospital wristband gets him a free beer at Waterloo and me a free milkshake (Adam says he wants to borrow my wristband so he can get two beers. He better smuggle one into the hospital for me).
- I need to get the epidural before I'm a 4 or it's no looking back.
