Today has been a big day. Not so much for me as for my youngest sister Katie, who's a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her team won the university's first-ever Atlantic 10 women's championship! Now, they're going to the 2009 NCAA Tournament, which is huge! Here's a team picture of Katie in all her green and gold glory, and here's a link if you're interested in reading up on the baddest team in the A10! Go 49ers! http://atlantic10.cstv.com/sports/w-baskbl/atl10-w-baskbl-body.htmlNow, on to life insurance, which is really exciting. Adam and I had a 7:30 a.m. appointment, and Max could smell the clinical pathologist a mile away. He m
ust have known he was going to draw our blood and make us pee in little vials. I'd have been scared of Max, too. Here's a recent picture, if you haven't seen him lately. Five pounds of pure furry fury. If I wouldn't have shoved Max in the guest bedroom, he would probably still be barking. It's his thing. And, Adam loves it. Turns out, when you're a clinical pathologist working for an insurance company, you're paid to be very observant. He knew I was pregnant before I told him because he saw a book that was sitting out, and he noticed I wasn't wearing my wedding ring (since I wasn't completely ready at 7:30 a.m.!) and asked me why. Isn't that kind of creepy?
I love it!! You did good and turns out you are a little interesting! I got a little teary looking at your belly pictures! Keep up the good work. Love ya!
